Ian N. Roher

Ian N. Roher has been a partner at Teplitsky Colson since 1986.

Mr. Roher received his B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1971 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1976. He obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1974.

Mr. Roher's litigation practice includes: corporate/commercial litigation, insolvency litigation and shareholder & partnership disputes. Mr. Roher has extensive experience in franchising and franchising related issues, such as commercial leasing disputes. He acts for various well-known franchisors both in individual proceedings and in class actions brought against them.

Mr. Roher has appeared in numerous courts, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He was a seminar leader for 5 years in the Civil Procedure section of the Bar Admission Course. He has frequently presented papers and lectured for, inter alia, the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Franchise Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and Insight.
